The company consists of two divisions, the subsea cable division, manufacturing power cables and umbilicals, and the rope division, manufacturing large steel and synthetic mooring lines and other specialised rope products for the offshore industry.

The company has the largest manufacturing capability in the word for spiral strand mooring lines for permanently moored floating production units, as well as for 6 strand anchor lines for mobile floating units - in addition, Parker Scanrope AS is by far the largest manufacturer in the world of deep water mooring lines made of polyester - two all new state of the art manufacturing lines, one with a world first direct in line tensioning / measuring systems, provides unsurpassed unit lengths with extreme length accuracy.

Large take-ups and quay-side manufacturing facilities permit door to door shipping of even the largest unit lengths in the industry, offering significant economies and easing installation operations.

MoorLine polyester tethers – MBL's up to 2500 tonnes – in line tensioning and length measuring system – unit weights up to 120 tonnes.

Steel Spiral Strand mooring lines with in house extruded jackets – unit weights up to 250 tonnes.

Six Strand Wire Ropes comprising of Anchor Lines for FPU’s and MODU’s, Anchor Handling Wires, A & R ropes, Crane Ropes, Riser Tensioner Lines, Drilling Lines – unit weights of 200 tonnes – compacted constructions available.
