Bio-Rope-Guard™

SeaOcean Bio-Rope-Guard™ is designed for optimum lubrication and corrosion protection of wire ropes being used under the most arduous conditions and with the protection of the marine environment and its eco systems in mind.

The product is 100% inherently biodegradable, furthermore, the product’s other major constituents are naturally occurring inert minerals providing a durable wear resistant film containing corrosion inhibitors and solid lubricant which will, by capillary action, penetrate to the rope core in order to provide both external and internal protection.

In addition to SeaOcean Bio-Rope-Guard’s proven ability to protect ropes for longer periods without the need for re-application, it also exhibits a thin surface layer, which means the coverage per kg of product is very high thus making for economical application.

SeaOcean Bio-Rope-Guard™ will resist both water wash off and pick up of dirt and grit when used in hot dusty environments and has been assessed to CEC-L-33-T-82 and would be considered biodegradable as defined by this test procedure.

There are no restrictions on the movement of the product, which is supplied in an 18 kg steel drum, by air, road or sea.

As a matter of course, a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) sheet is delivered with every consignment and is available for evaluation and approval on request.
