End Terminations

SeaOcean can provide all the necessary resources for the successful termination of both fibre & steel wire rope products with a large variety of fittings, either in a workshop environment or on site, and in most sizes.

Examples of the sort of fittings which we are typically asked to work with are as follows :-

• Becket Eyes for wire rope installation purposes
• Poured sockets in wire rope
• Soft or thimble eyes in both fibre & steel wire rope
• Swaged sockets in wire rope
• Wedge sockets in wire rope

In addition, SeaOcean often helps our customers develop a bespoke end termination for a particular application – an example of this would be a swaged threaded terminal that was used on a wire rope assembly for a Riser Protection Net system – prototype testing of such items are normally mandatory as a means of establishing their efficiency and SeaOcean has the resources and experience to facilitate such an evaluation programme.
